We believe that building relationships is the key to a successful project

 

As a business owner and entrepreneur, it's very important to me that at the end of each project we are proud of our work.

I remember when I was 12 and my father would take me to construction sites with him, and give me small tasks so I would feel like a part of the crew.

As I got older, the tasks got harder. But whether I was 12 or 50, my father would always emphasize to me that it was the quality of the work I did that day, not the quantity, which mattered most to him. And that still rings true for me today.

TDC is a boutique firm by design because we never want to lose control over the ability to deliver a quality experience and product for our clients.

As your construction partner and/or property management choice, we consider ourselves stewards of your time, your money, your trust, and your project and treat them as if they were our own.

And this stewardship approach to building projects - and relationships - has served us well for over 35 years.

We've made a lot of friends, built (and rebuilt) a lot of buildings, managed a lot of properties, and gained a lot of wisdom and experience over the decades.

So much so, that I guess you could say we know real estate from the ground up. And we'd love to meet with you to see how we might be of service.

Meet The Leadership Team

  • Thomas C. Day

    PRESIDENT / OWNER

    Over 45 years of Construction and Property Management experience. I started when I was 12 years old with my father on our concrete company out of Two Rivers, WI.

    I had the opportunity at the age of 18 years old to work for the 2nd largest heavy highway construction company, ‘Streu Construction’, where I became a superintendent over grade finishing crews. I worked there for another 7 years until and later moved to Houston, Texas to work for an apartment developer, ‘Judwin Properties’. Thus, began my career in construction and property management.

  • Mary Montalbano

    SR. VICE PRESIDENT OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

    Over 35 years of property management experience, I began working with Tom in 1985 at Grey Cliffe Properties as a Property Manager.

    I have worked at every property management company with Tom since then, until we both decided to start our own adventure at The Tom Day Company in 2009. The rest is history.

  • Siler T. Day

    SR. VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION

    I started my construction career at the age of 13 when, my dad hired me on as a laborer, watching and learning the trade during the Summer break.

    I quickly fell in love with construction and began working part time during school and full time during summers at 16. Once after college, I worked for Pogue Construction as a Project Engineer.

    Due to my Father’s company being understaffed and over ran with jobs, I joined him and began the father-son duo.
